A little about me.
Hi! My name is Dave and I live on the East side of the Black Hills in Rapid City, SD.
I bought a trail camera back in 2007 for a home security camera and thought it was going to be small. I had no clue the commercial cameras at the time were so large. I wound up putting it out in the woods just to see if I would get anything. Low and behold, I got a few deer pictures. I have been hooked ever since! I joined a few trail cam forums and started to see the pictures others were getting and reading about different cameras. I never really was impressed with the quality of most commercial cameras. I started to see pictures from "homebrew" cameras that guys had made themselves. They were impressive to say the least. I started reading and asking questions about them and soon I was building my 1st "homebrew" camera. I have learned that this is a very addicting hobby. I have built about 12 cameras and a couple of video cameras. I have also bought several of the better commercial cameras. The reason for this site is to provide a place for me to start putting pictures up in one place so everyone can see them. I got tired of sending email's with pictures and links to pictures. My father would of been happy to of seen this site go up. I know he enjoyed the pictures I sent and I know my mom still does. This site is a work in progress as I get older and current pictures added. Enjoy the pictures and your stay! Feel free to leave a comment in the visitors section.
