Leo Rules the House
Leo is a 9 year old Golden Retriever.
Leo loves to go with me every where and gets depressed when he has to stay home.
He is as gentle as the day is long. Never growled or nipped at me in all the years we
have been together, but is still very protective and a good watch dog.
Leo likes to venture off into the woods when I can take him. Doesn't go far and returns after a couple calls of his name.
I wish I had taken the time to train him as a hunting dog. But time didn't permit it. He loves to stop and point at animals when we are out, not something I trained him to do.
As Leo gets older he is starting to turn gray and slowing down just a bit. Putting on a little weight but still has the will of a puppy. Leo would run all day if I let him.
Leo greets me with a wagging tail and happy face, whether I have been at work or had to leave him behind for a few hours. He is always close when I am under the weather.
Leo is my best buddy and companion!
